Journal of Diagnostic Radiology http://medicalresearch.be/index.php/jdr
Diagnostic radiology are trained to diagnose illnesses in patients through the use of x-rays, radioactive substances, sound waves in ultrasounds, or the body’s natural magnetism in magnetic resonance images (MRIs).

Journal of Diagnostic Radiology Publish paper subspecialty in the following areas:

• Abdominal radiology
• Breast imaging
• Cardiothoracic radiology
• Cardiovascular radiology
• Chest radiology
• Emergency radiology
• Endovascular surgical neuroradiology
• Gastrointestinal radiology
• Genitourinary radiology
• Head and neck radiology
• Interventional radiology
• Musculoskeletal radiology
• Neuroradiology
• Nuclear radiology
• Pediatric radiology
• Radiation oncology
• Vascular and interventional radiology
en-US editor@medicalresearch.be (Dr Thomas Berg) suoport@medicalresearch.be (Open Journal System) Fri, 04 Feb 2022 17:24:33 +0000 OJS 3.3.0.8 http://blogs.law.harvard.edu/tech/rss 60 The Occult Hip Fracture in Elderly Patients and Anterior Mitral Leaflet Aneurysm http://medicalresearch.be/index.php/jdr/article/view/19
Gene expression and MRI data were obtained for 295 patients (mean age, 56 years 6 10.3 [standard deviation]). Larger and more irregular tumors showed increased expression of cell cycle and DNA damage checkpoint genes (false discovery rate ,0.25; normalized enrichment statistic [NES], 2.15). Enhancement and sharpness of the tumor margin were associated with expression of ribosomal proteins (false discovery rate ,0.25; NES, 1.95). Smoothness of enhancement, tumor size, and tumor shape were associated with expression of genes involved in the extracellular matrix (false discovery rate ,0.25; NES, 2.25).
Dr. jonny malan* Copyright (c) 2022 http://medicalresearch.be/index.php/jdr/article/view/19 Tue, 01 Feb 2022 00:00:00 +0000 Consensus Imaging Recommendations from American College of Radiology Pediatric Liver Reporting http://medicalresearch.be/index.php/jdr/article/view/20
A literature search was performed to identify English-language observational studies published from inception to September 27, 2018. Studies were included if patients were clinically suspected to have hip fracture but there was no radiographic evidence of surgical hip fracture (including absence of any definite fracture or only presence of isolated greater trochanter [GT] fracture). The rate of surgical hip fracture was reported in each study in which MRI was used as the reference standard. The pooled rate of occult fracture, diagnostic performance of CT and bone scanning, and strength of evidence (SOE) were assessed. Osteoporosis is a prevalent, under-diagnosed, and treatable disease associated with increased fracture risk. Bone mineral density (BMD) derived from cardiac CT may be used to determine fracture rate.
Hauge Root Copyright (c) 2022 http://medicalresearch.be/index.php/jdr/article/view/20 Tue, 01 Feb 2022 00:00:00 +0000
