We are presenting a case of immunoglobulin A vasculitis in a 39-year-old German male following influenza virus infection. The infectious agent that cause immunoglobulin A vasculitis in our patient was Influenza A virus. Biopsy of the skin lesion his quasi-experimental study was conducted in 160 patients with hypertension in urban health centers of Urmia. Data collection questionnaire included: demographic questions, knowledge base questions, self-control behaviors questions and structures of the training program based on BASNEF model provided better results in controlling blood pressure than conventional training. Surgical site infection (SSI) is the commonest hospital acquired infection in surgical patients globally. It has remained a major cause of morbidity and mortality and a major source of worry to both the patients, doctors, hospitals and the community as a whole. This present study was aimed to investigate the phytochemical analysis and in-vitro antimicrobial activities of crude ethanol and methanol extracts of the Aloe barbadensis (Aloevera) leaf on five clinical wound isolates (Staphylococcus auerus, Escherichia coli, Klebsiella pneumoniae, Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Candida albicans). This was a cross-sectional study involving 200 randomly recruited surgical patients between October and November, 2015 at Nnamdi Azikiwe University Teaching Hospital, Nnewi. Pre-tested, interviewer administered questionnaires and laboratory test results were used to collect data, which were analyzed using Statistical Package for Social Sciences, version. . The efficacy of the extracts towards inhibition of the micro organisms increased with concentrations. Qualitative phytochemical analysis detected the presence of tannins, reducing sugar, saponins and flavonoids in all plant extracts. In conclusion, this leaf extracts could be used as a broad spectrum antibiotics in the treatment of wound infections since it has antimicrobial effects on bacterial and fungal pathogens.
Abbasi r Yaqoob*Forat yazdi V Davis

Depression was defined as a PHQ-2 score ≥3. The main composite outcome was death from any cause or hospitalization due to worsening HF. PHQ-2 items were extracted from the PHQ-9 results. To evaluate the association of PHQ-2 scores with outcomes, Cox proportional hazards models were evaluated The present study was carried out to evaluate the anti-arthritic nature of evening primrose oil (EPO) rich in -linolenic acid (GLA), on adjuvant -induced arthritic rats. Results were compared to those of diclofenac sodium, a reference standard non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug. The performance of these discriminants was independent of the cancer stage. This study revealed significant differences in plasma amino acid profiles between cancer patients and controls. The development of a cancer alters plasma amino-acid profiles without cachexia or weight loss, and the pattern maintained levels similar to that of the control group in both infected groups. The levels of the hormones tested also showed significant changes, manifested as significantly (p < 0.05) lower values in both groups of patients compared to the control group for the testosterone hormone.
Bielefeld VG- -Maraghy*
